BioDrop µLite
Micro-Volume UV/Vis Spectrophotometer 

The BioDrop μLITE micro-volume spectrophotometer, has a unique built-in sample port dedicated to micro-volume measurement of DNA, RNA and Protein samples.  Simply pipette 0.5-μL or more in the center and measure.  Wipe the drop away with lint-free tissue and the BioDrop μLITE is ready to make the next measurement.  Fast, easy and accurate!
 
The large capacitive color touch screen with intuitive on board software for data acquisition and analysis makes the process even easier.  Pre-programmed methods for DNA, RNA, oligos and proteins reduce the time from measurement to results.  In addition, data generated using the on-board software can be stored internally or transferred using a USB memory stick.  Alternatively, both the PC-only and standalone instruments can be controlled using a PC and BioDrop Resolution Software.  We even offer an optional built-in thermal printer for maximum flexibility.
 
Because the BioDrop μLITE has a built-in sample port with no moving parts, the pathlength doesn’t change.  This results in excellent measurement reproducibility.  Another benefit of having no moving parts is that there is no need for calibration of the instrument.  No more expensive service contracts, overpriced calibration fluid, or instrument downtime while it is being calibrated.
